Goodbye Apache, Hello Litespeed!
One of my server went into hiatus and we even restored it from scratch by installing RHEL 4 all over again and reconfigure, but for some reason Apache would crashed every 30 seconds. Error log shows nothing unusual and i cant figure out why as memory and etc seems to be on normal usage. So i end up installing Litespeed webserver, and my oh my it screamed SPEED! I’m loving it so far and auto update feature sure give it another notch on my fav webserver list. We have not tested it against digg traffic yet, but from the memory footprint and usage (server loads and etc) i think it will be alright. Well this entry might be a little screwy as i have not slept in the last 48 hours.

Hmm… they should have called it “Warp Speed”. Or “Quantum Slipstream”. Both are faster than “Litespeed”… New products coming up maybe? :lol:
