<description>Great insight. I would like to point out in of this recent economic plight. Ad companies have recently tightened up their payouts to site owners, especially sites that have alexa trends higher than 500k. I have been contacted by 4 website owners recently that want to find out why their payouts have dropped by 60 percent , yet they are getting the same amount of traffic, and the same in ad clicks. Now the argument might come up that advertisers aren&#039;t paying as much anymore. But I must balk at that. One of the site owners who contacted me had 200 page impressions with 1 ad click, and it paid out nothing. Where as this time last year they would have averaged 25 cents for the same click. So we will see what the end of 2009 brings
